And the bridesmaids will be holding onto several of these beauties (yellow ranunculas). This is my standing favorite flower.

I met with my florist for the first time today (shout out to Plaza Florists and Deb Chisholm for the recommendation!) and green dendrobium orchids are scheduled to make a big appearance. Love them. (Love them even more after I researched and found out they historically symbolize ecstasy. You betcha.)

Last week Joanna and I were talking about her bouquet and she mentioned anemones. I squealed (yes, squealed!) because I had spent the night before pouring over the beautiful anemones bouquets! I think they are such an interesting and unique flower. They come in an array of color choices and are in bloom November through May. Love it!

Recently I have been obsessed with peonies! I just love their soft full appearance with is fitting for a bouquet or a lush centerpiece. Plus they come in beautiful colors perfect for a spring wedding (which is when they are in season).
They look great paired with roses, small hypericum berries, and gerber daiseys (for a playful look). But I prefer them as a stand alone flower!
