Name: Max Edgar Linberg
Role: Ring bearer
Why: Um, SO CUTE. Brad and I sometimes babysit Max when we’re really lucky. We just love his adorable antics. He’s absolutely hilarious, so cute, and is just starting to talk. Nothing melts my heart like hearing, “Aunt Denanna! Aunt Denanna!” Would probably be my favorite Linberg if it weren’t for Brad. hee hee. Also, he’s Brad’s nephew.
Special duties: Look adorable and wear a mini tux even if it doesn’t have Spider-man on it.
Trivia: Max already knows most of his letters and can count to at least 10. He’s SO smart.

Name: Jedidiah Scott Smith
Role: Groomsman
Why: Jed is my only brother and he is AWESOME. And, again, family is our top priority, so I was so excited that Brad asked Jed to stand up with him. Jed is so easygoing it’s almost a crime (basically, we picked our entire wedding party based on how phenomenally laid-back everyone is). Plus, he’s been in tons of weddings, so he’s the old pro. We’ll be looking to him for advice (and to keep the music going at the reception).
Special duties: Looking dang good in a tux, bringing style and class to the whole event, and serving as a visual reminder to my dad that someone will carry on the Smith name.
Trivia: Oh, there’s so much I could say. Let’s go with this: In the future, my brother plans on buying a bulldog and naming her Midge. (I think it’s Midge. Whatever it is, it’s the cutest idea ever.)

Name: Nick Linberg
Role: Groomsman
Why: Nick is Brad’s older brother, a huge Star Wars fan, and overall great guy. He and his wife, Kristel, have us over a lot and let us watch their mega-adorable son, Max (our ring bearer). There are so many reasons to have Nick up front with us: He’s so laid-back and so cool, he’s family and we can’t do this without family, and Kristel’s plan is to tell Max, “walk to Daddy!” to get the little guy to run up front. We NEED him. Let’s take a second to give Kristel a shout-out! She’s so awesome and I can’t wait until we’re sisters, too!
Special duties: Ring bearer wrangling and guarding Brad’s Corvette (our getaway car).
Trivia: Researches purchases for months, maybe years, before buying. Must be a family trait. hee hee.

Name: Nathan Becker
Role: Best Man
Why: If you haven’t heard the story, Nate’s the guy that begged/pleaded/arranged for Brad and me to meet. For that, we owe him everything. He also makes an amazing meal called Hot Pot (along with his gorgeous and amazing fiancee, Tida) that is reason enough to suck up to him for the rest of our lives. He’s also one of Brad’s closest friends.
Special duties: Being awesome and dancing a lot at the reception. And not losing my wedding band. And calming Brad down if he needs it (which I doubt, Brad’s always calm. Not like me).
Trivia: Nate owns a huge Pez dispenser collection. And Tida encourages it! (I told you she was amazing.)
